2025 PGCDCC Installation Ceremony & Welcome Reception

The Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee (PGCDCC) hosted an Installation Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Tuesday, February 28, 2025, in Lanham, Maryland, to officially swear in its 2025 Executive Board members. The event welcomed Congressional, State, District, and local officials, who joined in commemorating this significant occasion.

Sylvia Johnson Elected as Chair of PGCDCC

The Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee (PGCDCC) is proud to announce Sylvia Johnson as its new Chair, effective January 21, 2025. With extensive experience in government, private sector leadership, and community advocacy, Ms. Johnson has served as a compliance officer for the U.S. FDA’s vaccine program, held executive roles in Fortune 500 companies, and is the CEO and Founder of JI-Solutions, a Health IT and Biomedical Consulting Firm in Prince George’s County.

Ms. Johnson also serves on local boards, including Doctors Community (Luminis Health) Hospital and the Human Rights Commission. As PGCDCC Chair, she is committed to transparency, inclusion, and community engagement, ensuring the Committee remains an active voice for residents. Please join us in celebrating her leadership and dedication to strengthening Democratic values in Prince George’s County.
